Why we work on retainer

Software isn't done at launch. It's done being built. What breaks, what your users actually want next, and what should be automated only becomes clear once real people are using the thing.

A retainer means the team that built it is still the team running it, so there's no re-onboarding a new agency every time something needs to change, and no six-week proposal cycle to fix a bug.

Common questions

Do you take one-off projects, or only retainers?

Most engagements start as a scoped build, from design through launch, and move to a retainer afterward. If you only need a fixed-scope build with no ongoing work, we'll say so upfront rather than push a retainer you don't need.

What does "AI automation" actually mean here?

Two things: automating work you already do manually (support triage, data entry, reporting), and building AI-native features into your product itself, like an in-app assistant or automated content pipeline.

How fast can you start?

It depends on what the project asks for. If you can describe the project clearly enough, we can put together a demo to show during the pitch.

What size company do you work with?

Mostly early-stage and growth-stage companies who need a full product team without hiring one, whether that's founders shipping a first version or a team whose product has outgrown a single contractor.
